This initiative was established by a few zealous folks donating their time, talent, and treasure, who desired to educate, elevate, and celebrate the men and women of America who get up each morning, kiss their families goodbye, and set off to do the work of earning a fair wage to care for their family and their communities, and embraced the virtues of one of the greatest saints ever to live, Saint Joseph the Worker. We hope each Union State adopts May 1 as Saint Joseph the Worker Day. Whether this day is celebrated by a prayer breakfast, banquet, or other community gathering, we invite you to be creative and form a grassroots effort to continue the momentum.
